Staffing
Two House Pedagogues live permanently in Hill House with the residents. Both of the House Pedagogues hold relevant qualifications in Social Pedagogy and have extensive experience providing professional child care.
In addition Hill House employs two Activity Therapists for every young person. All Activity Therapists hold a relevant qualification in an area suitable to providing professional child care.
Each staff member is appropriately qualified and Garda vetted. All staff receive a clear induction at the commencement of their employment and receive regular training and supervision regarding the theoretical and practical aspects of their work.
Through this structure, and the Social Pedagogy model of care we have adopted, we aim to provide a marriage between specialised, qualified, professional foster care and a full residential team support – all of which is clinically overseen by Dr. Toby Haslam-Hopwood.
